2007 Series Debriefing
- Armenian/Kurdish communities participated, good turnout
- Media coverage was excellent; two articles in the Tennessean, ads/notices/invitations were placed on Facebook, distributed brochures and posters on campus and in the Nashville community
- Exhibit of posters from the history of the Series history; Special thanks to Jo El
- Suggestions: more films?

- United States Holocaust Museum has a speakers’ bureau – Shaiya will contact re list of available speakers and requirements
Event suggestions (various are cont’d from 1st meeting)
David Stannard, author of 1992 controversial book American Holocaust’’, lives in Hawaii. Shaiya will look into his availability/cost. Possible VU departments’ interest in co-sponsoring.
Committee watched a brief excerpt from the film “TankMan” (Frontline documentary re Tiananmen Square); committee discussed and decided against HLS series inclusion. Good topic for separate classroom issue.

- Republicains expagnols (Dr. Parello suggests topic centered on the event described in the film (series of interviews with survivors of the first train sent to concentration camps. The film was screened in 2006 at UCLA. (English subtitles). Also called “The 927 on the Train to Hell. Dr. P will further investigate and send information to Shaiya.
